Mizuno raised its turnover by about 5 percent for the three months until the end of December to ¥36,837 million (€ 357.8 million), and the multi-sports Japanese company reduced its net loss for the third quarter of its financial year to ¥102 million (just under €1 million) – roughly halving the loss incurred in the same quarter the previous year. For the first nine months of its financial year, Mizuno’s sales firmed up by 3.2 percent to ¥114,888 million (€1.1 billion) and its net income jumped by 49 percent to ¥2,332 million (€22.6 million). Sales were up in all business units in the Americas, while footwear drove the growth in Europe.
